Gordon D. Cudmbre passed
away suddenly .at his late residence
Simcoe Street, Exeter, on Sar-
urday, March 8. He was in his •
63rd year. Surviving are his wife
the former Catherine Marie nick,
one daughter (June) Mrs. T. Ken-
nedy, Calgary, Alberta; sons
Kenneth and Grant, London; bro-
thers, Edgar and Harold,
Hensall, and Mervin, Exeter, 16
grandchildren, and one great -
grand daughter. Funeral service
was held Monday from the P.C.
Finney funeral home, Exeter,
• interment in Exeter cemetery.
Airs. Asa (Peeves is a patient
in St. Joseph's hospital, London,
'.laving been taken by ambulance
on Friday- with a fractured ankle
in a fall she suffered in an acc-
ident at her home.

and Hensall United, taking part in
the service

leaders who followed the order
of service were Mrs. Verne
Alderdice for the United; Mrs. T.
Brintne.11 for Chiselhurst; Mrs. R,
A. Orr and Mrs. Don Mousseau
for Carmel Church, and Mrs.
Scrabuik for St. Pauls Anglican.

gether in Christ,," a history of the
World Day of Prayer from in-
ception from 1918 to 1968, was
;shown. Mrs. E. Rowe was in
,charge of the projector, and Mrs.

Anther Rebekah Lodge Wednesday
evening, for which Noble Grand
Mrs. Earl Campbell presided,
plans were made for the Dessert
Euchre with a St. Patrick 'Theme,
to be held Wednesday, March 19,
at 2 p.m. , open to the public.
The C. P. and T. committee
will sponsor a euchre Thursday,
March 27.
