Lambeth 6—Zurich 1 Last Thursday night Zurich went to Lambeth without defence - men Don Bartliff and Bruce Schoenhals, and came out on the short end of a 6-1 soore. It wasn't until the third period that the Do- minions really missed the two rugged defencemen, when Lam- beth banged in four of their goals. Randy Ellerick gave Lambeth a 1-0 lead in the first period, when he scored at the 17:20 mark. In the second Reg Thomas scored at the 7:28 mark, and then Grant Dufty scored in the third at the :35 second mark, before Bill Stirl- ing finally found the range for Zurich. Two goals by Bruce Mitchell and another by Ellerick was all the Flyers needed to ring up their margin of victory. The Lambeth crew were really fired up for the game, which was the first one played in their new arena. They had previously lost two in a row' to Zurich after riding a winning streak over the past couple of months which saw them in first place most of the season. A total of 32 penalties were handed out by the same incom- petent referee that gave Zurich a rought time in Belmont a tr:craple of weeks ago. Included in the total were a game misconduct and two majors for fighting to Lambeth and a ten -misconduct and two ma• jors for fighting to Zurich. The Dominions will be back. at full strength for the first game of the playoffs on Sunday after- noon, and would greatly appreciate a full -house at the local arena. 0 Zurich Squirts Oust Adastrali Park Six The Zurich Squirts eliminated Adastral Park Squirts last Friday night, when they defeated them 2-0 in the second game of their best -of -three series.
