KOEHLER —In loving memory
of a dear husband, father and
grandfather, Bruce K o e h 1 e r,

December 30, 1958.
Ten years have passed since that
sad day,
When the one we loved was
called away.
God took him home, it was His
will,
But in our hearts he liveth still.
—Always remembered by his
wife Pearl, sons, daughters and

Make Ideal Gifts
Few men would appreciate
receiving a set of dishes as a
Christmas present. Even un-
wrapping the inevitable array
of ties, socks and shirts palls
eventually, so the unusual sug-
gestion is more than welcome.
If his hobby is growing plants
and flowers, indoors or out,
why not get him the tools for
the job, literally and figura-
tively
Your guide for growing house
plants and caring for gift plants
can be obtained by sending a
postal note for 75 cents to the
Information Branch, Ontario
Department of Agriculture and
Food, Parliament Buildings, To-
ronto 5, Ontario. This 50 -page
book is packed with useful in-
formation and advice. It has a
most attractive bright-clored
cover and several full-color il-
lustrations throughout, as well
as many in black and white.
Besides this for -sale -only pub-
lication, the information Branch
has several others on gardening
which are available free. Grow -

Influenza received its name
because originally it was be-
lieved to be cause by the in-
fluence of the stars. It was a
long time before anyone dis-
covered that the influence of a
person nearby with a cold was
much greater than that of the
far away planets. Nowadays
the Canadian TB -RD Association
advocates vaccination to ward
off influenza.
