My sincere thanks and appre-

canes 16-3. The victory was
the second for the team in reg-
ular competition this season.
Bob Moir, with five goals, and
Bill Stirling (playing his sec-
ond game of the season for the
locals with four goals, sparked
the Zurich attack. Mel Hohner
blinked the red light twice,
while single markers are ac-
counted for by Butch Fleet,
Kirk Lyndon, Stew Mustard,
Ron Corriveau and John McKin-
ley. With his five goals in the
Sunday game, Moir will be close
to the top in the scoring race
for the OHA Junior D grouping.
The locals came up with five
big goals in the first period be-
fore the visitors finally slipped
one by goalie Rick Jeffrey. Be-
fore the period ended they had
scored two more.
In the second period the Do-
minions banged in four more
counters, while Jeffrey held the
Hanover six off the scoresheet.
Gary Kyle, giving Jeffrey a rest
in the Zurich net during the
third period allowed the visitors
two more goals, while his team-
mates kept up their barrage,
scoring four more.
The entire Zurich team were
flying high for the game, as
they peppered at least 50 shots
at the bewildered Hanover
goalie. It was by farthe best
performance of the team so far
this season.
A total of 19 penalties were
handed out in the game with
locals drawing 10 and the vis-
itors nine. About 300 fans were
on hand.
The Dominions now face their
biggest test of the season this
week -end when they play .a
home and home game with last
year's champs, the Mitchell
Hawks, On Friday night the
locals travel to Mitchell, and
then on Sunday afternoon they
play the return game in Zurich.

Stirling and Stew Mustard last
weekend the Zurich crew show-
ed much more promise than
they did earlier in the season,
and the players are quite con-
fident they will take at least
one game, if not both, from the
high -flying Mitchell six. Game
time on Sunday is 2 p.m., and
the boys would like to see the
arena packed for this exciting
game.
Belmont 7—Zurich 2
On Saturday night in Belmont
the Dominions blew a 2-0 first
period lead and ended sup on
the short end of a 7-2 score.
Butch Fleet and Stew Mus-
tard shot the locals into an
early lead in the first session,
as the Dominions skated and
checked at a furious pace. How-
ever in the second period they
weakened, and allowed the
league leaders to come up with
three big counters.
In the third period the Do-
minons completely fell apart,
and the Belmont crew continued
their onslaught with four more
goals.
Twenty penalties were handed
out, with 12 going to Belmont
and eight to Zurich.
NOTES—The addition of Bill
Stirling and Stew Mustard in
the Zurich line-up should pro-
vide a new spark to the team.
Both are speedy left-wingers and
quite capable of scoring goals
This Friday night will see
the Dominions at full strength
for the first time this season.
On Saturday night both Brian
Decker and Kevin McKinnon
were sitting out—Decker with
a one -game suspension and Mc-
Kinnon with a two -game sus-
pension, for misconduct penal-
ties, and on Sunday McKinnon
was still out . Coach Hal
Flaro juggled his lines around
considerably for the Sunday
game in an attempt to produce
a winning combination, and the
move certainly paid off as the
boys were flying high ... This

Former Minister,
Native Son Attend
90th nniversary
A full church turned out to
welcome the Rev. Edward W.
Heimrieh when he preached in
St. Peter's Lutheran Church on
Advent Sunday, December 1.
Rev, Heimrieh was pastor of
the church from 1942 to 1954,
which on Sunday celebrated the
90th anniversary of the dedica-
tion of the present building.
During the service Claire
Deichert, vice-chairman of the
church council, read a list of
memorials and gifts which hacl
been placed in the church over
the years and gave the dates of
renovations and additions made
to the structure.
With Dorothy Wagner, as or-
ganist, the choir sang "Break
Forth Into Joy". The soloist
was Elaine Westlake who sang
"The Holy City".
Pastor Heimrich's sermon was
based on King Solomon's prayer
of dedication of the Temple as
recorded in Second Chronicles.
The guest speaker at the eve-
ning dinner was Dr. Herbert
Kalbfleisch, of London, a son
of the congregation and until
recently chairman of the Ger-
man department of the Univers-
ity of Western Ontario. The
dinner was pot -luck style, or-
ganized by the Lutheran Church
Women, with a program pre-
pared by a committee headed
by Mrs. Leona Rader.
Christine H a b e r e r played
numbers on the glockenspiel;
Lois Doerr gave piano solos;
Mrs. Ray Fisher gave a reading
on the passing of the years, and
the Village Folk, led by Richard
Breakey, pleased the evening
crowd with their folk singing.
Professor Kalbfleisch's ad-
dress was very informative as
it traced the development of
Christianity in northern Europe,
the migration of Luther an
groups to Canada and the set-
tlement of the founders of St.
Peter's congregation in Hay and
surrounding townships. Dr.
Kalbfleisch was introduced by
his brother, Albert Kalbfleisch,
and thanked by Victor Dinnin.
