It being on Saturday to give a chance to all of their children to attend but the real date was November 25. All of their 11 children at- tended, relatives and many par- ishioners, to witness the occa- sion and ceremony officiated by Monsignor Bourdeau. All was 0 inspiring and as well touching to the celebrants and to the children; also the kind words of praise voiced by Monsignor Bourdeau We believe the Ducharmes have the distinction of being the oldest living married couple in the history of this parish. There are reasons for the elder Ducharmes to be proud of their long life even though at times they were sailing on rough water. They had from the be- ginning resolved to take what married life had in common for them and with that in mind worries of married life were left behind. • • After the church service all Wins Scholarshi p Bruce Gary McBride, eldest son of Mr.. and Mrs. Wes Mc- Bride, of RR 1, Varna, has been named winner of the Associa- tion of Professional.
