ARMSTRONG, MANAGER Obituaries HENRY ALBERT HOWALD A life-long resident of Zurich, Henry Albert Howald died in Goderich Hospital on Saturday, November 23. He was 84 years old and had been a resident of the Blue Water Rest Home for the past year. Born in Hay Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs, Jacob Hawald. He was a mason by trade. Surviving are one son, Law- rence; two daughters, Mrs. Or- ville (Muriel) Steinbach, Mrs. Kenneth (Idella) Crisp, all of London; and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Mellinger, of Detroit, and Mrs. Cathryn Barry, of San Francisco. Another son, Gor- don, and his wife, the former Clara Flaxbard, pre -deceased him, The body rested at the West- lake funeral home, Zurich, where the service took place on Monday, at 2 p.m. Interment Mrs William Ducharrme, Sr. A life-long resident of the Bluewater Highway, Hay Town- ship, Mrs. Wiltiani Ducharme, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, November 26, in her 88th year. She was the former Josephine Denomme, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Den. online. Her husband prede- ceased her some years Ago.Surviving are five sons: Wil- liam, Jr., Louis, Victor, all of RR 2, Zurich; Napoleon, of Lon- don, and Isidore, at home; six daughters; Sister Francis Borgie (Juliette), of Mount St. Joseph, London; Mrs. Noel (Rena) La- porte, RR 2, Zurich; Mrs. Leon- ard (Cecilia) Jeffrey, Goderich; Mrs. Claude (Madeline) Gelinas, London; Mrs. Leonard (Marg- aret) Masse, London, and Mrs. Richard (Monica) Jeffrey, RR 2, Zurich. PRICE A resident of Westminster Hospital, London,for some years, Andrew A. Price passed away on Thursday, November 21. Ile was 81 years old. Mr. Price was a former resi- dent of Zurich. for some time, and was born in Hay Township. Funeral service was held on Sunday at the Westlake funeral home, Zurich, with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Goshen Line. Rev, A. C. iBiack- well officiated. 0 MRS, SOLOMON ZIMMERMAN A resident of the Blue Water Rest Home and a former resi- dent of Zurich, Mrs Soloman Zimmerman passed away on Friday, November 22 The form- er Elizabeth Schroeder, she was 86 years old. Funeral service was held on Monday at the Hoffman funeral home, Dashwood, with interment in Emmanuel United Church Cemetery, Bronson Line. Rev. J. W..Huether and Rev. A. M. Amacher officiated. Due to circumstances it was necessary to change the dates for a series of meetings to No- vember 28 to December 1, at Blake Mennonite Church. Rev. Stoltzfus has servved the church in various capacities: from 1950-1964 be served as pastor in West Liberty, Ohio; for three years he taught at Goshen College and for two years served as student pastor. Now he is serving as co ordin- ator of church and seminary relations for Goshen College Biblical Seminary. He is presently engaged in various congregations through- out the Mennonite Church to develop a plan to 'discover and encourage potential church leaders. The messages will be a Bible study series from First Timothy and be related to this leader- ship discovery plan. Friday evening will be youth night with a message geared to young peo- ple. Sunday morning he will speak at Zurich Mennonite Church at 9:45 a.m., and at Blake at 11:00 a.m. The meet- ings will begin this Thursday evening end continue each eve- ning through Sunday.
