Reformation Rally
The 450 + 1 Reformation
Rally was held Sunday, Novem-
ber 3, in Zion Lutheran Church
Dashwood. Rev. LIoyd Wentz
laff, of Holy Cross Lutheran
•Church, Kitchener, was guest
speaker. Liturgists were Rev.
Elliot. of St. Mathew's Lutheran
Church, Stratford, and Rev. G.
Reinhart, of Mitchell Lutheran
Church.
A joint choir of adults and
Sunday school children provided
special music. Group two of
the Ladies' Aid was in charge
of a pooled lunch.

ing in a series of messages for
spiritual renewal at the Blake
Mennonite Church, November 6
through 10.

of the church, for persons of
all ages. Special speaker nightly.
Professor Stoltzfus has served
the church in various capacities:
from 1950 to 1964 he served as
pastor at West Liberty, Ohio.
For three years he taught at
Goshen College and for two
years served as student pastor.
Now he is serving as co-ordin-
ator of church and seminary re-
lations for Goshen College Bib-
lical Seminary.
He is presently engaged in
various congregations through-
out the Mennonite Church to
develop a plan to discover and
encourage p o t en ti al church
leaders.
The .message will be a Bible
study series from First Timothy
and be related to this leader-
ship discovery plan. Friday
evening will be "Youth Night"
with a message geared to young
people. Sunday morning he will
speak at the Zurich Mennonite
Church at 9:45 a.m. and at Blake
at 11:00 a.m. The service will
begin this Thursday evening
and continue through Sunday.

Exeter Pentecostal Tabernacle
for the marriage of Carolyn
Violet Glanville and Nickolas
Andrew Lansbergen.
Rev. F. •Rhude performed the
double ring ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Glanville
of Crediton are the parents of
the bride, and the groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. William
Lansbergen, RR 2, Zurich.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride chose a floor-
length gown fashioned from
chantilly lace. An empire bodice
of chantilly lace, featuring lily -
point sleeves, topped an A-line
skirt also of chantilly lace. A
train, cascading from her should-
ers, fell in tiers at back. Her
triple -tiered French illusion veil
was held in place by a cluster
of white roses and the carried
a bouquet of red roses, white
mums, and trailing ivy.
Miss Patricia Makins, of Galt,
was maid of honor and Mrs.
Shirley Sutherland, London, was
bridesmaid. Flower girl was
Miss Shellie Glanville, Crediton,
sister of the bride.
They wore identicals gowns
of peacock blue peau de soie
highlighted by a train at back.
Their headpieces were clusters
of roses and they carried a
cascade of yellow mums.
Theodore Lansbergen was
best man for his brother, and
guests were ushered by Niel
Lansbergen, brother of the
groom, and Alvin Pearson, uncle
of the bride.
The bride's mother received
guests in a pink boucle dress
with matching lace coat, navy
blue accessories and a corsage
of pink roses. The groom's
mother wore a two-piece suit of
blue and green with matching

rings with James Andrew Rowe,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
Rowe, of Ailsa Craig, in Zurich
United Church, on Saturday,
October 12, with Rev. John
Huether officiating.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther, the bride wore a very be-
coming gown of peau de safe on
empire lines beneath a floor -
length long sleeved coat of im-
ported chantilly lace flowing
into a romantic chapel train,
accented with a satin bow and
panels falling from the neck-
line. A dainty headpiece of
pearls held an elbow -length
French silk illusion veil and
she carried a cascade of yellow
roses and white mums with
trailing ivy.
During the ceremony Miss
Ruth Ann Bender of Tavistock,
sang "The Lord's Prayer" and
"The Wedding Prayer", She
was accompanied by Mrs. M.
Oesch at the organ console.
Mrs. Norma Gemmell was her
sister's matron of honor, while
the Misses Margaret Geiger and
Marion Rowe, sisters of the
bride and groom, were brides-
maids. The three attendants
were gowned alike in floor -
length gowns of moss green
peau de soie, styled in empire
line. Miss Nancy Scafe, niece
of the bride, was the winsome
flower girl. She wore a white
floor -length gown trimmed with
moss green. All the attendants
carried nosegay arrangements
of bronze and rust mums with
moss green streamers.
Bryan Smith, of Lucan, was
blue accessories and a corsage
of pink roses.
For travelling, the bride
changed to a dress and coat
ensemble• of aqua blue, black
accessories and a corsage of
pink roses.

At the reception held at the
church following the ceremony,
the bride's mother chose a
shocking pink A-line dress with
a matching pink and silver bro-
cade hat, with a corsage of
white mums. The groom's
mother •chose an emerald green
shantung ensemble with a green
feather hat, and a corsage of
white mums.
For travelling to British Co-
lumbia and the northern part
of the United States, the bride
changed to a tailored moss
green dress and matching jacket
with black accessories.
Mr. and Mrs. Rowe will re-
side near Ailsa Craig.
