SUMMER PLAYGROUND — A new project
sponsored by the Zurich Recreation Committee this
summer seems to be producing results as dozens of
youngsters gather at the park twice weekly for
summer playground fun. Part of the group are
shown here as they pass their time away on handi-
crafts, while another group to the left are busy
playing games. Still another group enjoys playing
softball and all the activities are supervised by high
school girls in the community.
A FAMILIAR SITE—Farmers are
busy these days taking off one of the
best crops they have had in some
ears. Almost anywhere you drive
there is a farmer working in the fields
combining the crops of oats or barley.
In this photo Max Jeffrey, RR 2, Zur-
ich, is combining a field of oats along
the banks of Lake Huron.
