HOLLAND'S ST. NICHOLAS — As well as
being entertaining, the program for Christmas 1967
at the Zurich Public School was educational. Here
this trio of boys is telling the story of the coming
of St. Nicholas to Holland. The bearded gentleman
in the centre of the photo is Richard O'Brien. He
is flanked by Henry DeMooy (left) and Douglas
Klopp.

The Le a f s took the lead
on goals by Joey K e n d a
and Barry Bess. Derek O'Brien
retaliated by putting two by
the Leafs' goalie. Later on in
the third pediod Ron Smith and
Brad Oke each scored two.
Bruins S—Hawks 2
In the first period Kim Mc-
Kinnon and Pat Bedard scored
for the Bruins. Gregory Love
scored for the Hawks.
Ricky Regier scored twice in
the second period for the Bruins.
John Mommersteeg scored
the last goal for the .Hawks.
Kim McKinnon picked up his
second of the game. in the final
period.
The splendor of the
shining star reminds us
of the glories of that 1r0 Christmas
night, making our hopes brighter.

Thursday night in Monkton
the Zurich 'Midgets defeated
Monkton 8-1. Dave Siebert kept
up his superb goaltending; as
usual, allowing only one to slide
past him.
The goal -getters for Zurich
'were Shane 11.Kirtnn with a
hat trick. John McKinley with
two, and tiarry Hess, Randy
Decker and Ron Desjardine
with singles.
Zurich Edges Hensall
Saturday in Hens:Ill the Zur-
ich Midgets continued their
winning streak over Hensall by
a score of 5.4•
The game was a good starter
for Zurich but they slackened
off when Ilensall flared up. Go-
iae into the third period the
score was four -all until Larry
Hess scored the winning goal
with only minutes left in the
:game.
