In addition to all the other frolic and fun at their program, the children included a nativity scene complete with costumes and music. Expiry Date For Licences Feb. 29 Sale of Ontario's •new licence plates will again test human nature for three full 'months. Opening day for purchasing the blue on white 1968 passen- ger, dual purpose and motor- cycle plates at all of the 280 issuing offices across the prov- ince was Friday, December 1. Expiry date for 1967 markers will be Thursday, February 29, giving motorists an extra day of grace because it's leap year. Department of transport of fieials are again appealling to motorists' common sense in urging thein to buy their plates early. There is no reason to get stuck in those last minute line-ups, and there definitely will be not extension beyond the February 29 deadline. If sales follow the pattern of past years, more than half of of the two million licences for passenger vehicles, dual pur- pose vehicles and motorcycles will he sold in the last two weeks of February, The people who work in the issuing offices keep hoping that human nature will change. Last year the licences sold in tha month of December amounted to 6.6 per cent of the total; in January another 17 per cent were sold. The remaining 76,4 per cent were sold from Feb ruary onwards. Licences for commercial mo- tor vehicles, trailers and con- version units are not sold in ...and many thanks to all you wonderful people whose friendship has been so heartwarming during the year. Siebert Stars In Midgets Victory (By Shane McKinnon) Monday night the Zurich Midgets defeated Brussels 9.3. Dave Siebert, the goalie for Zurich, kept up his brilliant goaltending as he has been do- ing all season. The goals were scored by Dino Desjardine, Burger Schil- be, John McKinley and Biondy McKinnon. Sehilbe scored two, while McKinley and IVieKinnon each had hat tricks. The Zurich Midgets have lost only one gam{' this season while winning five. The team needs support from the fans. so come on out and cheer for the high -flying Zurich Midgets, JUVENILES LOSE TO GODERICH The Zurich Juveniles were defeated by Goderich 4.0 Mon- day night in Goderich. It was a clean game but the "A" group had the advantage. Rick Jef- frey played •a superb game in the goal -tending division.
