NATIVITY SCENE IN VILLAGE — The con-
gregation at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Zurich,
has erected this inspiring Christmas scene depict-
ing the birth of the Baby Jesus, Saviour of the
world. In beautiful color and lighted during the
night, it reminds all who pass by that Christ is the
reason for Christmas. A contrast to the gay lights
and tinsel, the wooden figures announce glad tid-
ings and goodwill to all men.

Poison at 'wood
Another •dog in Dashwood has
fallen victim to that commun-
ity's poison fiend.
The latest victim was a small
pet awned by Bernie Nauss and
it was the second dog within
three weeks and about the
seventh in the last year which
has been found poisoned.
Mr. Nauss reported he let his
pet out for its usual evening
romp and he found it lying dead
on the porch about 10 minutes
later.
During the past two weeks, a
cat has also been poisoned.
All the •animals belong to
