The Christmas meeting of the
Hensall Women's Institute will
be held in the Legion Hall on
Wednesday, December 13, at
8:15, Roll call will be to read
a short Christmas verse. A
splendid program is being ar-
ranged, in keeping with the
Christmas season.
Mrs. Clarence Reid was the
winner of $500 in the Seaforth
Legion Grey Cup draw. The
ticket was sold by Al Nicholson,
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson, of
Birmingham, Mich., were week-
end guests with Mrs. L. Simp-
son.

Winners in the euchre party
held in the IOOF Hall, spon-
sored •by the CP&T committee
were: ladies' high, Mrs Gerald
McFalls, Exeter; gents' high,
Gerald McFalls, Exeter; lone
hands, Mrs. R. A. Orr, Draw
for baskets of apples, Mrs. Clar-
ence Volland, Mrs, Earl Camp-
bell, Gerald McFalls and Mrs.
Ted Taylor. Lunch was served.

card party at Goderich last
Wednesday.

changed marriage vows in the
EUB Church, 'Crediton, 'on No-
vember 25, 1967, at 7 p.m. Gold
mums and white candles formed
setting for the ceremony per-
formed by Rev. H. G. Zurbrigg.
Mrs. Fahner, Crediton, was or-
ganist.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence H.
Forrest, Brucefield, are the
bride's grandparents and the
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Theodore H. Leibold, RR
3, Zurich.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by Mr. Ron Johnson, and
she chose a white floor -length
silk gown with matching chan-
tilly lace jacket. It was styled
with a scalloped neckline, long
lily -point sleeves and •an em-
pire waist. A flowing train was
held in place by a bow et the
back. Her !headpiece was a
cluster of white roses and she
carried a bouquet of sixteen
red roses, gold tinted mums
and red velvet ribbon.
Maid of honor was Miss Mar-
garet Forrest, London, sister of
the bride. She wore a gold
silk dress with matching head-
piece and accessories, and car-
ried a bouquet 'of gold mums
and green ribbon.
Rosemary Kowatsch was flow-
er girl and Jeffery Kowatsch
was ringbearer. The flower
girl was dressed the same as
the maid of honor.
Nick Lansbergen was best
man and Ross Leibold and Karl
Kowatsch ushered guests.
The bride's grandmother
chose a blue flowered jersey
dress with black accessories and
corsage of gold mums. The
groom's mother wore a two-
piece navy imported crimp net
dress with white accessories
and a corsage of pink mums.
For travelling the bride
changed to •a chocolate brown
dress with matching lace jacket,
black accessories and a corsage
of pink roses.
The couple will reside in
London.

Members of Hensall Kinette
Club last Sunday delivered 'ap-
proximately 60 Christmas pack-
ages to sick and shut-ins in
Hensall, Queensway Nursing
Home, Hensall; hospitals in Ex-
eter and Clinton; Huronview,
Clinton, and the Blue Water
Rest Home, near Zurich.
This is an annual project of
the club.

Senior Citizens
Governor Bill Watson, of
Fonthill, and Sterling MacLean,
district expansion chairman, St.
Catharines, and district deputy
governor Doug Cruickshank, of
Goderieh, attended the Henan
Kinsmen dinner meeting on
November 23.
Guests at this special meet -
in enjoyed an interesting illu-
strated talk on "Survival", given
by F/0 D. Mailloux, Canadian
Forces Base, Clinton.
Plans were made for an up-
coming peanut drive and sale
of Christmas trees.
The club is also sponsoring
a Senior Citizens' Night, Wed-
nesday, December 13, and will
pay expense to charter a bus
to take a tour of the area from
7 to 8:30 p.m. to view Christ-
mas decorations. Following the
tour a ,Ohristmas program will
be presented at Hensall Public
School at 8:30 p.m.
Free transportation to and
from the school is supplied if
required. The bus will leave
the school at 7 p.m. Contact
Kinsman Ron Wareing for fur-
ther information.
