GOSHEN NEWS
The "Country Fair" bazaar
and rummage sale held in
Varna on Saturday, September
30, was 'quite successful. Spon-
sored by the Goshen United
Chinch Women, a few ladies
were dressed in centennial cos-
tume. The winner of the cen-
tennial quilt, which has been
up by silent auction during the
summer, was Mrs. William Col-
lins, of Komoga, with the high-
est bid of 50 dollars.
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Arm-
strong are visiting Expo this
week.
Mr. Elgin McKinley returned
home from the hospital on Sun-
day.

Professor John C. Wenger, of
Goshen College Biblical Semin-
ary, Goshen, Indiana, will be
guest speaker at the Blake Men-
nonite Church on October 8'
and 9.
There will be two services
each day at 10 a.m. and 8 pm.,
The message will be part of;
the 1966 Conrad Grebel Lecture;
series and will be inspirational
as well as challenging.
The Monday morning service
will include a testimony and
thank -offering service, There
will be time for a question and
answer period following the
messages.

Kinettes Plan For
Rummage Sale
Hensall Kinette Club resumed
their meetings Wednesday, Sep-
tember 27, for which Mrs. Bob
Caldwell, president, was hostess
at her home.
Plans were outlined for their
annual fall rumage sale, to be
held November 4. They de-
cided to again canvass the vil-
lage for the March of Dimes
in January; to purchase a
Christmas gift for their adopted
child in Italy; and will attend
a theatre party in London to
celebrate their llth anniversary.

NOTICE
The Board of the Combined Roman Catholic
Separate Schools of the Villages of Hensall
and Zurich and the Township of Hay
TAKE NOTICE that the Board of the Combined Roman
Catholic Separate Schools of the Villages of Hensall and Zurich
and the Township of Hay on the 2nd day of October, 1967,
passed By-law Number 2- 1967 to authorize the borrowing of
money by the issue and sale of a Debenture of the said Board
in the principal amount of $92,000.00.
1 -The purpose for which the money is to be borrowed
is the construction of separate school accommodation and the
supply of equipment therefor.
2 -The amount to be borrowed is $92,000.00 on the
security of the said Debenture, which shall be a charge upon
the schoolhouse property and premises and any other real or
personal property vested in the said Board and upon the separ-
ate school rates collectible by the said Board.
3 -The Debenture is to be dated October 1, 1967, is to
bear interest at the rate of 51/2% per annum payable semi-
annually on April 1 and October 1 in each year of the currency
of the Debenture and is to be repayable in instalments of
principal on October 1 in the years 1968 'to 1987, as follows:
