a.m. The guest minister will
be Rev. D. Steven, of Eginond-
ville.' Special music will be
given by the choir under the
.direction of Mrs. Robert Stirl-
ing. There will be no evening
service.
Orval McClinchey is at pres-
ent a patient in Clinton Public
Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. V. Terryberry,
of Goderich, visited friends
here on Wednesday last.

home Sunday.

Mrs. Kathleen Allinson, of
Lancashire, England, flew to
Canada and spent three weeks
with Mr. and Mrs. Howard
Klumpp and Brad. While she
was •here, along with Mrs.
Klumpp and Brad, they visited
Expo 67.
Recent visitors to Expo were:
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Boyle and
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Becker; Mr.
and Mrs. Mervyn Tieman, Mrs.
Leta Taylor, and Mrs. Helen
Grieves.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller and
girls, of Zion, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader
and family.
Ladies' Aid
The September meeting of
the Ladies' Aid of Zion Luther-
an Church was held Wednesday,
September 13, with group one,
and Mrs. Lorne Genttner con-
venor, in charge of devotions
and lunch. Janice and Jayne
Hayter sang duets accompanied
by Janet Miller. Pastor E. E.
Steinman took as the topic,
"Attitudes about money".
Mrs. Leonard Schenk, presi-
dent, dealt, with the business.
The Ladies' Aid fowl supper
will be held in October with
group two in charge. The fall
rally of the LWML will be in
Mitchell, October 2. Reports
were heard from various com-
mittees. The Altar Guild for
September is Mrs. Lorne Gentt-
ner and Mrs. Reinhold Miller.

of Toronto, were weekend
guests with Mr.: and Mrs. John
Soldan, Patrick and Michael.
Mrs. Bill Austin, Seaforth,
was the lucky winner of a 1967
Plymouth ear at a bingo held
recently at Durham,
Ira Geiger, who underwent
surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, last Tuesday, is doing
nicely.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fink have
returned from a week's visit
spent at Expo.

Hensall Institute
Opened Season
With Dinner
The Hensall Women's Insti-
tute commenced autumn sea-
son's meetings with a pot -luck
smorgasbord lunch on Wednes-
day evening, in the Legion Hall,
Hensall, with an attendance of
thirty-eight.
The highlight of the program
was pictures on the screen by
Mrs. Robert Simpson, who com-
mented on their vacation trip
to the British Isles, which she
and her husband enjoyed this
summer. She was assisted at
the projector by Mrs. Walter
Spencer. _
An orchestra, composed of
Mrs. Ross Broadfoot, Don Mc-
Curdy and Frank Forrest, ren-
dered lively music which was
much enjoyed.
Program convenors were Mrs.
Walker Carlile and Mrs, Luella
Willert. The president, Mrs. V.
M. Pyette, opened the meeting
and chaired the business. Roll
call was answered by "How you
spent your vacation".
An invitation was announced
from Seaforth WI for their Oc-
tober meeting. Mrs. Pyette pre-
sented a bank book to Mrs. J.
Skea for her infant son, David
Robert. Delegates appointed
for the county rally are Mrs.
Fred Beer and Mrs. R. A. Orr.
Courtesy remarks were given
by Mrs. J. Corbettt. Hostesses
were Mrs. Grace Harpole and
Mrs. Archie Noakes.
