Neighbors and friends gath-
ered at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Miller, where a
farewell party was held for Mrs.

An enjoyable evening was
spent playing solo and euchre.

Pepper, low. Euchre winners
were Mrs. Ray Ducharrne, high,
and Mrs. Gerard Ducharme,

Mrs. Schilbe was presented

Zurich 7 -Walkerton 4
On Snunday afternoon the
Kings moved over to Walker-
ton for a game with the strong
northern contender, and came
home with a decisive 7-4 vic-
tory. The locals were sparked
by Dori O'Brien and George
Haggitt, each with a home run.
Haggitt kept up his torrid
hitting pace as he slamed out
two singles along with his
homer. O'Brien also singled
with his homer and Bruce Hor-
ton added to the cause with
two singles, Wagner, Dalrym-
ple and IlileNaughton each hit
safely once, as well.
Zurich scored two runs in
the first on two walks and two
singles, and came up with four
more big ,counters in the fourth
when O'Brien and Haggitt both
homered. Their final run was
scored in the ninth, when Dal-
rymple singled, went to second
on a wild pitch and then scored
on O'Brien's single.
Walkerton scored once in the
fourth, added two more in the
sixth and counted their final
run in the seventh.
Don O'Brien went the route
for Zurich on the mound, and
