Grand Bend Ready
For Busy Season
Grand Bend council has clear-
ed the way with the help of
the Ontario Department of
Lands and Forests to erect flood
lights along the beach. It is
the responsibility of the village
to instal the lighting and no
definite d e c i s io n has been
reached as yet.
Opinion seems to be that im-
proved lighting along the lake
front would bring about a
marked change in the .behavior
of young •people frequenting the
sandy stretches after dark. Re-

A Wilderness Way Adventure
Vacation offers inspiration for the
eye, refreshment for the soul.
From Sault Ste. Marie, around
Lake Superior and westward past
Kenora, the spectacular im-
mensity of earth and sky holds
you enthralled.
Fishing is, frankly, superb—
especially unequalledat remote
fly -in lakes. Boaters and
campers enjoy endless choices of
broad, sandy beaches and
uncrowded forest campsites. Cities
are few, but make up for that
in friendliness and in wide range
of accommodation and
shopping facilities. Highways are
splendid—straight, smooth
and uncrowded—for relaxed, easy
driving.
A Wilderness Way Adventure
'Vacation will open up for
your family a new view of this
province and continent.
