Hamilton, son of Mrs. Erle Hamilton and the late Erie Hamilton, Ailsa Craig, on Saturday, April 22, at 2:30 p.m. Rev. C. B, Carr, uncle of the br'de. of St. Jacob's. assisted by Rev. M. Shatto, performed the dtruble ring ceremony. Mrs. Milton Oesch played the wed- ding' music and accompanied the soloist. Mrs. William Fuss, Hensall, who sang the Wedding Pnyer and Two Shall Be One. Given in marriage by her fa- ther, the bride wore a tradi- tional floor -length gown of Itlian silk faille, Chantilly lace pearled appliques outlined the scoop neckline, trimmed the elbow length sleeves and the front of the bell-shaped skirt. The lace -edged detachable ca- thedral train topped by a bow fell from the lower shoulder level. A rosette touched with shimmering tear -drop crystals held her veil of illusion, and she carried a cascade of red roses, white carnations and Pin- occhio mums with trailing ivy. Mrs. Douglas Lightfoot, of Crediton, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, wearing a floor -length dress of iris blue peau de soie, featuring a scoop neckline, elbow -length sleeves and back panel falling from a bow at the neckline, was ac- cented with white daisy trim. She carried a sheaf ;of white gladioli and yellow mums tied with blue, yellow and white rib- bon. Bridesmaids, Miss Donna Kipper, Zurich, and Miss Diane Weber, Das_hweed, cousin of the bride, were gowned in parrot blue, styled identically to the matron of honor. Flower girls, Debbie Horner, niece of the bride, and Sandra Yearley, niece of the groom, wore long white peau de sole dresses with daisy trim, blue cummberbunds and blue pet- alled headpieces, Ringbearer was Wayne Dunn, Bayfield, nephew of the groom. John Hamilton, Ailsa Craig, was best man for his brother and Douglas Lightfoot and Wil- liam Yearley ushered guests. The reception was held in the church rooms where the bride's mother received guests wearing an ensemble of pink flowered nylon sheer over taffeta with three-quarter length coat and matching accessories. The groom's mother chose a blue silk knit suit with black acces- sories. Both mothers wore a pink carnation corrsage. For a trip to Florida the bride travelled in a candy pink silk ensemble and white orchid cor- sage. The couple will live in Lon- don north. The groom is em- ployed with Continental Can Co., London, and the bride with London Life. Bride Feted Prior to her marriage the bride was entertained at several showers. Misses Diane and Shelley Webber, cousins of the bride - elect, held a miscellaneous shower for the bride's relatives. An aunt of the bride, Miss Melvina Schade, London, with whom she lived while in Lon- don, entertained London friends in her honor, also Miss Ruth Geiger ,at her apartment and Miss Starr Stevens and Mrs, Joe illellharey entertained at the former's apartment for fellow employees, Trousseau Tea Mrs. Clarence Schande enter- tained at a trousseau tea for her daughter who, with her mother and the groom's mother, Mrs. Erle Hamilton, received guests. Marjorie Prest, Exeter. Miss Debbie Horner attended the register. DASHWOOD card DISTRICT (MRS. E. H. RADER, Correspondent) Mr. and Mrs. Louis Reste- mayer, 1V1rs. Rose Kraft, Mrs. Madeline Fleet, Gail and lvlichael and Truman Fisher spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Kraft. They all attend- ed the baptism of Mr. and Mrs, Kraft's son, Scott Mathew, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Ronald Kraft and Mrs. Fleet were sponsors. Mrs. }Tarry Hoffman and Mrs. Morris Denomme are patients in St, Joseph's Hospital, Lon- don. Mrs. Dan Weber is a pa- tient in South Houron Hospital, Exeter. Sant Kraft Sam Kraft, 82, of Eston, Sas- katchewan, died April 28, fol- lowing a stroke. Surviving are a daughter, Verna (Mrs. Mike Rogers) of S o s k a t o o n; one grandson, Brian Kraft, of Eston; a sister, Miss Pearl Kraft, of Dashwood, Burial was in Eston, Sask. The guest speaker for the ,conven- tion was Rev, D. Eder, who served the church in Beinut, Lebanon, The president, Mrs. E. E. Hallman, in her address told where the society came from as a small missionary group and where it will go as part of the United Church Women's group after the church union is completed in 1968.
