Outlined at County Council Session
The new Huron County Pub-
lic Library board made its first
official report to county conn-.
ell last Monday when Duff
Thompson, •chairman, Clinton,
addressed councillors and stu-
dents who were in attendance
at the afternoon session.
The board has been in oper-
ation only since the January
session of county council and
monthly meetings are being
held," Mr, Thompson saki.
"There are many problems to
be faced in connection with the
transition from a co-operative
to a public library system, The
board asks the indulgence of
all concerned until the change-
over has been completed and
the operation of the system be-
gins to function in a normal
manner," he urged.
The townships of Hay, Morris,
East Wawawnosh and Hullett
are now included in the County
Library System, .as recommend-
ed by the board with by-law
amended accordingly.
Mr. Thompson pointed out
that with the addition of these
four municipalities, the system
including 3 units; Dari Kool S-
can milk cooler, like new.
150 bales straw.
