Figures show that CIA has
made tremendous growth in the
past 10 years. Huron County
once again received the top
award for highest number of
policyholders in the car insur-
ance field, 25 per cent of all
vehioles in Huron County are
insured with CIA.
The guest speaker at the
luncheon was the Hon. Paul
Martin, minister of external af-
fairs for Canada. He pointed
out the significance of co-oper-
atives as an instrument to help
not only Canadians but others.
The Canadian government is
sponsoring representatives from
underprivileged countries who
are studying the co-op tech-
nique here in Canada which in
the future would help to pro-
mote peace throughout the
world.
