Christmas
Program Attracts
Large Audience
The white gift of the Emman-
uel EUB Church school is being
given this year to Crippled Chil-
dren's work. Each class, 12 in
number, made their presenta-
tions through their various rep-
resentatives Sunday night in
annual program, to assistant su-
perintendent Wayne Horner,
who then placed them on the
altar.
Classes presented interesting
Christmas exercises. Music was
provided by Miss Idella Gabel
at the piano, Mrs. Milton Desch
at the organ, the children's
choir, the senior choir, and Mrs.
Beatrice Hess, soloist. A junior
solo was sung by Pam O'Brien.
The original playlette, Uno,
written by the pastor, was pre-
sented by Mrs. Allan Gaseho,
director. The costume for the
Spirit of Christmas was ar-
ranged by Mrs. William Siebert,
the part being taken by Sharon
Jacobe. Other members of the
cast were: Eldon Bullock, Paula
Siebert, Donald Desch, David
Siebert and Carol Gascho.
A full church of people, an
excellent offering, with a pro-
gram well received, and colorful
lighting, made the 1966 presen-
tation of the church school a
delight to all involved.
A sequel is planned when the
Dashwood EUB choir presents
on Sunday night, January 8, a
cantata pageant, "His Star Still
Shines". That program will be
at '7:30 p.m. and includes a
choir and cast of over 30 per-
sons, and takes one hour. This
will be in celebration of the
Epiphany.

Police Report Of
Activities With
Exeter Force
By Corporal C. J. Mitchell
During the week of Decem-
ber 11 to 17, the Exeter de-
tachment of the Ontario Pro-
vincial Police investigated 10
occurrences, and four accidents
in which .two people were in-
jured.
Forty warnings were issued
under the Highway Traffic Act,
and six charges laid under the
same act. There was one
charge under the Liquor Con-
trol Act.
The -detachment spent 55
hours on patrol during the one-
week period, and travelled 1684
miles.
Driver! It's a fact! If, you
get into the habit of breaking
traffic rules you're headed for
trouble! The records prove it.
They show that many of the
injuries and fatalities on our
streets, and highways are the
result of the breaking -of one
or more of the traffic rules
and regulations by some person
or persons. On the other hand,
most drivers stick to the rules
and stay out of trouble. Makes
sense, doesn't it.
Traffic rules and extra holi-
day season enforcement of the
rules make a live -saving com-
bination. Support this team
and help save lives, perhaps
your own, or your child's.
