Election Over
As usual the township elec-
tion on Monday last was for the
purpose of forming a new coun-
cil for the coming year. In this
polling division which I had
the honor to represent as an
officer, the voters turned out
favorably to choose the candi-
dates of their choice. When
doing so they were excercising
their voting rights. By doing
so they have well discharged
their duty.
If you have failed in electing
the candidate of your choice it
was not of hard luck going
against you but simply because
the voting majority had a dif-
ferent view to yours. All those
elected pledged themselves to

No. 8, I regret to say that some
ratepayers were not on the vot-
ing list and to them it meant
disappointment, and according
to the views of yours truly a
yearly scrutineering of all the
ratepayers and voters of the
township should be taken, to
ensure a vote to all those en-
titled. It would not be con-
fusing to the responsible ones
who are trying to give their
honest service at the various
polls in the township,
