London, England — Early in
September Bruce Irwin, the
man who gambles as a hobby
and always wins, took ten peo-
ple to Nassau and spent four
evenings at the gambling ca-
sinos. He took these people to
demonstrate that he has a "per-
fect system". Their !testimon-
ials will be used during the
publication of his book, "The
Midas Touch", which will be
out early in December.
At this very moment, I am
accompanying Mr. Irwin on a
European "gambling trip". In
future columns, when I return,
I'll be writing about, our ex-
periences at the casions.
On his September jaunt there
were four people from Detroit,
one each from Montreal, Bow-
manville and California, and
three from Toronto.
I had the pleasure of meet-
ing the Detroit residents before
going to England and hearing
about how Bruce always won at
the tables. The first evening
he won exaxctly $1,000. On the
second night his w i n n i n g s
amounted to $1,200. It was
$1,500 on the third night and
the final evening he won $4,000,
which turned out to be clear
profit after purchasing the air-
line tickets and paying other
expenses of his ten guests.
Irwin continues to receive
offers to buy his "system". On
this trip that we are now mak-
ing, four people gave him $1,000
each and one gave him $1,500.
He is using this money to win
money and each will receive
his money back, plus one per
cent per day, which will be
between $500 and $600, de-
pending on the length of time
we remain in Europe at the
gambling tables.
