ies and a corsage of yellow car-
nations.

a bateau neckline, sleeveless,

gance was portrayed in the
gently controlled A-line skirt.
Over this was worn a regal
cathedral length coat of the
same crepe sateen in a cardinal

cate Swiss guipure lace sil-
houetted the coat and sleeves.
To complete her bridal outfit

is the grand -daughter of Mr.
Sim Willert, of Dashwood.

tiss, honeymooners in Ontario,
called on her grandfather, Sim
Willert, Monday.

Roger Keller 'has no definite
plans yet.
Mrs. Myrtle Kellerman is a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospital,

The regular meeting of Zion
Lutheran Ladies' Aid was held
Wednesday, September 14, with
group two and Mrs. Ernest
Koehler, convenor, in charge of
the program and devotions.
Mrs. Milford Merner gave a
reading, "Put out your tongue".
Mrs. Ken Keller had the topic,
miscellaneous shower was held
at the home of Mrs. Rosemary
McCaughrin, of London.
Mrs. Wayne Clausius, of Zur-
ich, and Mrs. Tom Arthur, of
Exeter, entertained at the home
of Mrs. Leona Rader, Zurich.
Mrs. Stewart Thiel and Miss

tient in Clinton Public Hospital.
RCMP Constable Allan Thiel,
of British Columbia, is at pres-
ent holidaying at the home of
his mother, Mrs. Alice thiel,
Douglas Thiel, of Guelph, was

o'clock, when Elizabeth Ann
Denoname, of London, and Al-
bert Keith Anderson, of Lon-
don, exchanged marriage vows
in a double -ring ceremony be-
fore Rt. Rev. Monsignor Bour-
deau.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Remi Denomme,
RR 2, Zurich, and the groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs, John
Anderson, RR 2, Hensall.
Given in marriage by •her
father, the bride wore a formal
floor -length white gown in peau
de sole fashioned in slim lines.
The sheath line was daintly
trimmed with re -embroidered
Alcelon lace at neckline and
hemline, with lily -point sleeves.
An over -skirt draped from the
sides of the front of the gown
and extended into a cathedral
train, A full bouffant veil was
draped from a peau de sole
rose headpiece dotted with seed
pearls. She carried a •cascade
of miniature white carnations
and pink roses.
Mrs. Desmond Sawa, of Lon-
don, sister of the bride, was
matron of honor. She wore a
pelican pink sata peal gown.
Design of the gown was floor
length with empire lines, puri-
tan sleeves, and a flowing back
panel. She wore a matching
rose headpiece with seeded
pearls and carried a nosegay
of white daisies with trailing
moss green ribbon.
Bridesmaids, Mrs. Robert
Merner, of Zurich, and Miss
Debra Anderson, Hensall, sis-
ter of the groom, were gowned
identical to the matron of
honor.
Douglas Mann, Hensall, broth-
er-in-law of the groom, was
groomsman, and Lloyd. Den-
oxnme, Zurich, brother of the
bride, and Donald Johnston, of
Waterford, ushered guests.
Mrs. Stephen Meidinger, solo-
ist, a sister of the bride, sang
"0 Perfect Love" and "On This
Day", and was accompanied by
the organist, Mrs, Henry Rau.
At a reception held at the
Dominion Hotel, Zurich, for 135
guests, the bride's mother re-
ceived in an original dress of
Alice blue crepe with a short
scallopped bodice, short sleeves,
with matching pale blue hat
and white gloves. She wore a
corsage of gold roses, She was
assisted by the groom's mother,
who wore an ensemble in gold
silk shantung with black and
green accessories, She wore a
corsage of Talisman roses,
For a wedding trip to south-
ern United States the bride
travelled in an oyster Italian
straw silk suit in sheath lines
with hipped jacket and puritan
sleeves. She wore matching
brown accessories and an orchid
corsage.
Both the bride and groom are
employed by the department of
highways, London. They will
reside in London.
Following rehearsal Friday
evening, the bridal party were
entertained at the home of the
groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Renner and Kenneth
Obituary
JOHN S. ALBRECHT
A life-long resident of Zurich,
John Sebastian Albrecht passed
away at IIuronview Home, Clin-
ton, on Sunday, September 18,
at the age of 89 years,
Born on the 14th concession
of Hay Township on July 11,
1877, he was the son of the late
Adam. Albrecht and Elizabeth •
Voeckesser. He was a life
member of the Lutheran Church
Zurich.
He married the late Lavada
Coloskey on April 9, 1907, and
she predeceased hint on Sep-
tember 26, 1964.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Charles (Lulu) Scotchmer,
Bayfield, and Mrs. Frank (Rose)
Butler, of Zurich; three grand-
children and four great grand-
children; one sister, Mrs. Henry
(Elizabeth) Volland, of Hensall.
Funeral service was held at
the Westlake funeral home on
September 20, at 2 o'clock, with
interment in St. Peter's Luth-
eran Cemetery, Goshen Line.
Rev. A. C. Blackwell officiated.
Pall bearers were four neph-
ews, Bruce Volland, Clarence
Volland, Louis Taylor, Hubert
Sehilbe, and two grandchildren,
John Anderson, RR 2, Hensall. Knights.
