Present for the occasion were the attendants, Mrs. Ivan Tay- lor, sister of the groom, of Waterloo, and Harold Kraft, brother of the bride, of Lon- don. Also the couple's four sons. Arthur, a senior student at Concordia Lutheran Semin- ary; Kenneth, Richard and Brian. Guests were present from Waterloo, London, Exeter, Zurich and Dashwood. The evening was spent at their residence where euchre was played, with Mrs. Leonard Prang and Lloyd Rader winners. Mrs. Harry Hayter and Glen Rader consolationists, WSWS Meeting The WSWS of the Evangelical UB Church met Friday, June 3, with Mrs. Sid Baker chairlady. The aim of the meeting was to introduce "Advance in Mis- sions" taken by the missionary education group which were Mrs. Don Geiser, Mrs. Eben Weigand, Mrs. Erwin Schade, Mrs. Clayton Merner, Mrs. Jessie Rader and Mrs. Sidney Neeb. Kenneth Zorn is pastor, and spent the day at the par- sonage with Rev. and Mrs, Zorn and family, Mrs. Lloyd Rader is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. A children's day service was held Sunday evening in the Evangelical LTB Church. The kindergarten, primary and two junior classes took part in singing and class recitations. The kindergarten class, taught by Mrs, Clayton Merner and Helen Rader, provided singing and recitations. The primary class, taught by Mrs, Eben Weigand, presented "In business for the king" and sang "Precious Jewels". The junior Blass, taught by Mrs. George Tiernan, presented "Gave a Smile" and sang "Praise Him", The junior class two, taught by Mrs. Gordon Bender, presented "Flowers for Children's Day" and three girls sang "Pretty Flowers Bloom- ing." A short colored movie film of the Dashwood congregation and their organizations was shown. "A colored filmstrip, "Christian choices in action, was shown. The offering was designated for world relief through "One Aour of Saring". Mrs. James McAllister con- ducted •a Biblical contest and the winners were Miss M Ellis and Mrs. Jarvis Horton. Mrs. E Rowe and Mrs. Harry Caldwell served a cup of tea. The mother of the bride received the guests in a powder blue ensemble with white accessor- ies and a corsage of pink and white roses. The groom's mother ehose a blue lace dress with matching hat and black accessories and a corsage of pink roses. For a trip to Washington, the bride wore a white brocade sheath dress with matching full length coat, large pink hat and pink carnation purse corsage. The couple will reside in Lon- don for the summer and will live in the United States during the winter. The groom is a professional hockey player and played his first season last year with the Tulsa Oilers, a farm club of the Toronto Maple Leafs, 0 Bride Honoured Prior to her marriage, Miss Elaine Keys was feted at an afternoon tea held in the home of Mrs. John Heal, Hensall. The bride was presented with a corsage of red and white roses. After refreshments were served the bride was presented with many beautiful gifts by Misses Julie and Jane Heal and Anne Keys, after which Elaine expressed her thanks to all the guests present. Mrs. Ralph Stephenson, BR 1, Varna, entertained at her home THURSDAY, JUNE 9, 1%6 in honor of her niece, Miss streamers and balloons and she Elaine Keys. Many relatives and friends were present and Miss Debora Stephenson assist- ed her mother with games and contests. The bride's chair was decor- ated with pink and white was presented with acorsage of pink and white mums and carnations. The address was read by Miss Joan McClymon+t, Varna.
