Douglas O. Fry performed the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Brown, Seaforth, formerly of Hensall, ;and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Carter, RR 2, Seaforth. The church was decorated with candelabra and standards of white mums and pink car- nations. Mr. Barry Cabena, of London, was the organist. He Splayed the Trumpet Tune by Purcell for the processional, and the March by Handel for the recessional. The soloist, Mrs, Don Overholt, St, Cathar- ines, sang the Lord's Prayer and the Wedding Hymn. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a dress of elegance, fashioned in Gey - pure lace with a style in an empire mood. The dress fea- tured a slim A-line skirt, top - Ped with a highrise waist, scoop neckline and elbow sleeves. The bride was attended by Mrs, R. Riley, London, sister of the groom, as matron of honor; bridesmaids were Miss Dale Hunt, London; Miss Marilyn Neeb, Tavistock, and Miss Bar- bara Nagle, Lucan. A social evening was (held after the meeting. 0 Hensall Kinettes Hear Speaker Mrs. Jack Drysdale was host- ess for the regular meeting of the Hensall Kinette Club on Wednesday night, when presi- dent Mrs. William Fuss chaired the meeting and welcomed the guest of the evening, Mrs. Fer- guson, who is on the staff of the 'Ontario Hospital, Goderich. She spoke and displayed differ- ent crafts which the patients had made, followed with a ques- tion and answer period. A letter from their adopted girl in Italy was read. A don- ation was approved for the Cancer Fund, and .a `thank you' letter from the March of Dimes was read expressing apprecia- tion for their donation collected in a recent canvass of the vil- lage. Mrs. Ella Drysdale was pres- ent and modelled a 60 -year-old bridal gown. The group will have a booth at the Spring Fair scheduled for June 15. Mrs. Bob Cald- well won the raffle. Allan Reid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reid, is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exe• Hensall Girl Is Lisa In Area Cystic Fibrosis Program The little people who watch Miss Dorothy's Sunshine School on week day mornings will have a surprise in store for them on Wednesday, May 25, when little Lisa Hyde from Hensall is going to be on the show in person to tell the people there and the television audience and friends some facts about the disease, Cystic Fibrosis. Lisa has been chosen by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to be the "Lisa" child comparable with the "Timmy child" for the crippled children's campaign). There will be other children called "Lisa" in their own areas across Canada and the United States, but it just so happens that for western Ontario the "Lisa" really has for her own first name, "Lisa".
