Elmore Truemner, son of Mr,
Dan Truemner, Goshen Line
south, has been successful in
passing his third year dental
examinations.
A handsome galvanized roof
with weather vane attached has
been put on the cement water
tank at the fire hall. The work
is highly praised and is a credit
to the town, Mr. Preeter had
the contract while his tinsmith,
Mr. W. F. Brown, performed
the work.
In the list of successful stu-
dents at Toronto University, we
notice the names of W. 0.
Robinson and R. M. Geiger.
Mr. Robinson ranked first in
honor philosophy and von the
Blewett Scholarship.
Mr. Jake Willert, of Dash-
wood, has purchased a Chevro-
let car from Mr. Ezra Tiernan.
Lorne Armstrong, of Stanley
Township, has joined the 161st
Battalion in Clinton,

MAY, 1926
Mr. Albert Siebert is sporting
a new Star six sedan,
Miss Edna Strang, •of Kippen,
spent a few days this past week
with Mrs. Norman Gascho.
Edwin and Norman Gascho,
Mrs. Oliver Surerus and daugh-
ter Geraldine were at London
last Saturday. The latter had an
operation on her nose and will
spend several days in the city,
Mr. S. Deitz is erecting a fine
new metal garage beside his
business block.
Word has been received that
Mrs. Minnie Fritz and her two
daughters, Veda and Hazel,
former residents of Zurich, were
injured in a train -bus •accident
in London- They were passer
gers in the bus.

MAY, 1941
Mr, Charles Hay has secured
a position in the bake shop at
Eckel's Bakery in town.
Congratulations are extended
to Mrs. Herb Neeb who was
successful in winning both Con-
goleum rugs at the recent guess-
ing contest held at the stores
of J. Gascho & Sons and J. W.
Merner.
Mr. Ed Reichert is building
a fine new residence, having
purchased a lot from the St.
Peter's Lutheran congregation.
This is a very fine location and
Mr. and Mrs. Reichert will erect
a very creditable home thereon,
On Saturday afternoon the
large stone house of Mr. Elgin
McKinley, of the Goshen Line,
took fire from the roof and
before it was extinguished was
almost out of control. The ter-
rific wind blowing made it aI-
mnost impossible to extinguish
the !flames. The Zurich fire
brigade was credited with their
able work. The upper storey
of the house was gutted, how-
ever the lower part of the
house was saved.

MAY, 1951
Miss Veronica Meidinger, ac-
companied by Mr. Emmett Ban-
non, of Kitchener, spent the
week -end at the home of Mr.
and Mr's. Alex Meidinger.
Messrs. Orville Witmer and
Allan Gascho motored to Wind-
sor on Monday where they pur-
chased an automatic slicer and
wrapping machine which will
be installed in the near future.

toon, has returned home after
spending the winter months at

Mrs. Scott are now residing in
Alvinston.

Scotch Farmer is
Visiting In Huron
Three English, four Scottish
and two Irish young farmers
arrived in Montreal on the
"SS Carinthia" on April 26.
They will be visiting junior
farmers in Ontario until July
22 when they will return home,
William J. McConachie, 23, a
member of the Scottish Associ-
ation of Young Farmers, visited
'last week with Ross Veitch, RR
2, Brussels, a member of the
north Huron Junior Farmers.
William assists his father and
brother on the family farm
where they specialize in fatten-
ing beef cattle and growing
barley. He is a member of the
Nairnshire Junior Agricultural
Club and is interested in public
speaking, enjoystravel and
meeting people.
William will be staying with
Don McKercher, RR 1, Dublin,
provincial junior farmer direc-
tor for Huron County, until
May 24. He will then travel to
Wellington County to visit with
junior farmer members.

Crop Report
Warm spring rains have given
new vigor to forage and cereal
crops in Huron County. Spring
grain is showing through on
many farms.
Some farmers have turned
livestock out to grass for the
summer. Practically all dairy
cattle are still inside.
Soil moisture supplies appear
adequate.

A producer who is not in any of these count es may be-
come a member of the county group nearest to his place
of production.

The number of directors from each district is based on 0
formula taking into account both the number of producers
and the acreage.
The number of committee men in each district is three
times the number of directors but with a minimum of five
in each district. The committee men are to be elected and •
the Directors to be nominated at county meetings.
If more than the required number of directors is nominated
the election will be conducted by mail ballot.

(1) Each grower has equal voting rights
(2) The assets of the Company, which
have accumulated over the years from
all growers ore returned to the growers
collectively
(3) Any decision os to the direction or
disposition of the Company will be made
by the growers and every grower, will
hove equal rights in any such decision.
Present Company bylaws can be changed at
any annual or general meeting of the Company
provided proper notice of meeting has been
sent to all members.
