Damage Was Extensive
In last Wednesday's vicious sleet and
wind storm throughout this area, many heavy
losses were suffered by the Hay Municipal
Telephone System in various sections.
Shown here is an area south of Dashwood
where three or four continuous miles of
lines were broken down — some twisted and
carried out on the road while others ended
up infarmers' fields, This particular section
of the System will see the lines replaced
with an underground cable, and work will
commence on this project later in the week.
