Left to right, are Gib Ducharme, Joe Gelinas, Tom Meyers, Edward Ha- berer, Andrew Thiel, Peter Neuschwanger and Melvin Brown. While only four of those seated are in the game at one time, the rest of the group seem to enjoy watching just as much. ST. Mr. and Mrs. Clement Bedard, of Windsor, spent a few days the past week with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bedard. They returned to their Windsor home this past week- end. Mr. Geoffroi will com- plete his second year of teach- ing in this northern town, with increased salary. This speaks well for this young man for the service he has given. On Saturday last, many from this parish and surrounding at- tended the funeral of the late Mrs. Josephine Brisson, where requiem mass was celebrated in St. Boniface Church and the remains laid to rest in the church yard cemetery, Mrs. Brisson was born in this vicin- ity 89 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bejamin Char- rette and had resided in this parish and surrounding her en- tire life. She was of amiable character and loved by all. She leaves behind to mourn her loss four sons and three daughters, also three sisters.
