Galbraith, wife of the late Charles Tudor Marks, pas -vi away on March 14, 1966, in Clinton Public Hospital. Surviving the deceased are one son, John A. Marks, Bay- fiel:' '1 two daughters Mrs. John (Margaret) Wain, Bay- field, and. Miss Mary C. Marks, Tor "fr'• sister, Mrs. Ada Reid, Seaforth; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body rested rat the West- lake funeral home, Zurich, from where the service was held on Thu sday afternoon. Mrs. Chris Haist visited in London on Friday with (her friend, Mrs. MacMillian, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Merner and Steven, of Toronto, visited at the home of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Len Merner, Zurich. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kaiting, Goderich, visited with Mrs. Chris Hoist on Sunday, Mrs. Len Prang and Edward spent the week -end in Water- loo with the Garnet Wieberg family. While there they at- tended the seventh annual Wat- erloo Coin Show at the Walper Hotel, Kitchener. Edward re- ceived a trophy for winning first in the junior category. ST. Mrs. Harvey was an amicable person, kind and generous to all, always willing to give a helping hand to those in need, Mr, and Mrs. Armand Bene- teau, of Canard River, passed a few days in this neighborhood visiting with Mrs. Sarah Jeffrey in St. Joseph and also with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Duoharme. NETTIE HARVEY On Saturday last the remains of the late Nettie Harvey, of this parish, were taken to St. Peter's Church, St. Joseph, where requiem mass was .offic- iated by Monsignor Bourdeau. The remains were then taken to St. Boniface Church Ceine- church work and as well help- ing neighbors. She will be greatly missed in :this commun- ity. The cause of her death was a car accident while on her way to attend a church service. An old saying which is true, the greater the good you do while trodding this earth as a pilgrim the greater your reward immediately after your death. This was portrayed on Satur- day last at the funeral mass of the late Mrs. Nettie Harvey, when the church was complete- ly filled and we can say with certainty, this was one of the largest funerals in the history of this parish and surrounding communities.
