Zurich outscored their opposition 4-2, as Hoffman from Bloch and Schade, Westlake from Bloch and Hoffman, Rader unassisted, and Bloch from Westlake and McKinnon, all scored for Zur- ich, and Deyell and Gorrie scored for Wingham. Gary Geoffrey was a stand- out in goal for Zurich. Then on Friday last the Midgets, playing without three regulars played heads -up hoc- key for all three periods and managed a tie with their arch- rival, Hensall. Paul Corriveau, playing standout hockey, both offen- sively and defensively, led the Zurich attack by scoring all three goals, one in the first, second and third period s. Scorers for Hensall were Lyn- don with two and Schwalm with one. On Monday of this week the Midgets, again playing short- handed, this time five players were away due to illness. play- ed to a 3-3 draw with the smooth -operating Mitchell en- try, which is tied for first place.
