Jantzi SUNDAY, 10:00 a.m.—Sunday School. 11:00 a.m.--Worship Service. YOU ARE WELCOME JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! In the begining ...God created the heaven and the earth. Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; And the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters. And God said: Let there be light and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light day and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. Glory to God on High and on earth peace to men of good will. Mr. Kelly pointed out that 670 people died of ,TB in Can- ada in 1964. We, as tuber- culosis associations, should per- sonally tell as many people as we can about tuberculosis — a disease with the cause unknown since 1900, and 65 years later is still not eradicated. Every 15 seconds, someone died of TB and it is still the greatest men- ace to public health, he said. George A. Watt, president of Huron Association, presided at the meeting. Ralph Green, pres- ident of Perth Association, in- troduced the speaker. Mr. Kelly was thanked by Dr. J. C. Ross, of Goderich, ,an honorary vice- president of the Ontario Asso- ciation. Jars _ 2/85c neat and well kept up. I can- not recall the names of the family, but there were husband and wife and three teenage daughters. Each had their work to do, one helped the mother cooking, the other took care of the dining room while the other took care of the sleeping quar- ters. All was orderly and well managed to give comfort for their boarders. We started our work with the Lewis Lumbering Company when nearing the end of the month of October, the opening date of camp, when all was put in readiness for the winter. Already our camp was filled up, 28 men in all, Some were sailors, some came from their parents hone on the farm, and others were like us, who were. drifting around from one place to another enjoying every day that passed on for they were a jolly bunch of boys. All went well until the fatal day when my comrad was in -1 stantly killed by a sweeping beech tree. It was in the be-, ginning of the afternoon on the ninth of November when al- ready the snow had covered the ground a few inches and since Millersburg is to the north the winter setting in earlier than here. It was already cold, and I while notching the birds eye maple my pal was standing by, and at the moment our fore- man, by the name of Harry King, came around on his noon calls and said to me, "how about it, Frenchie". By that he knew the tree had to go through between two other trees, a birch and a beech and when he said how about it he meant the space between the two trees was narrow and if 1 could notch it to go through it was a good word for my ex- perience and work. He was a young man and liked to play and fool with the boys, so my pal and him got into a tussel while I was notching the tree. Ile then left and it was only minutes after that and all was over. 1 had to call for help and the other 26 men were soon by any side. 6' VINYL rtt ` c tt y . i :y_, ISTMAS T'`.EE 45 sparkling green vinyl branches with full not - ural needles.
