NOTICE is hereby given that I have complied with
Section 9 of the VOTERS' LISTS ACT and that I have posted
up in my office at the Town Hall, Hensall, on Wednesday,
October 27th, 1965, the lists of all persons entitled to vote
in the Municipality at Municipal Elections and that such
list remains there for inspection.
AND I hereby call upon all voters to take immediate
proceeding to have any omissions or errors corrected ac-
cording to taw, the last day for appeal being the Twelfth
day of November, 1965.

Hallowe'en Party
For 11lensaPP Kids
Over 100 children from I-Ien-
sall and district were enter-
tained to a Hallowe'en party at
the local Arena Saturday night,
a project of the Kinsmen Club.
Winners for costumes were:
7 and under, comic, Tammy
Moore, M e l i s a Veal, Becky
Baker; best d r e s s e d, Greg
Corneil, Cathy Jackson, Bobby
Clement; best comic, 10 and
under, Linda Beer, Danny Tur-
vey, Paul Reaburn; best dressed,
Jill Drysdale and Pamela Mickle
(shared), Ann Knight, Judith
Mickle.
Best comic, over 10, David
Jackson, Jean Corneil and Mrs.
William Smith (shared), Linda
Hay; best dressed, Ann Bell,
Jane Smith and Shelly Bon-
thron (shared), Gary Clement
and Michael Davis (shared).
Judges were V. M. Pyette and
Lorne Hay. The children were
given treats and also two hours
of skating.

Hensall Kinsmen
Hear Candidate;
Visit Hospital
Guest speaker at the dinner
meeting of Hensall Kinsmen
Club last Thursday evening was
Malt Edgar, past governor of
district 1, and Liberal candidate
for Huron riding in the federal
election, speaking on politics.
He was introduced by Ron
Wareing.
President Jim Hyde chaired
the business meeting, when
plans for a peanut drive of the
village will be made in the near
future.
Patients at Ontario Hospital,
Goderich, were treated to a
lovely evening of entertainment
Wednesday evening when the
Hensall Kinettes and Kinsmen
visited the hospital bringing a
little joy into the lives of the
patients,
Bingo was played and prizes
given. One of the highlights
of the evening was dancing
with the patients participating.
Music was furnished by Mrs.
Wayne Smith on the accordion,
John Reid, guitar; Jack Sim-
mons, banjo and Lloyd Deichert
of Zurich, on the violin.

McKINLEY RECEPTION — A big reception for Mr.
and Mrs. Bob McKinley, RR 1, Zurich, was held last Wednes-
day night in the Exeter Legion Hall, when •a number of
dignitaries were on hand to speak on behalf of the Conserv]
ative candidate for Huron. Left to right, are: Hon. C. S.
MacNaugihton, Mr. McKinley, Hon. J. Waldo Monteith, and
John Loney, Bruce MP.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Orr, of
Chesley, visited for a few days
last week with Mr. and Mrs.
R. A. Orr.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Kennedy
have returned .after a visit with
relatives in Fenelon Falls and
Burlington.
Mrs. R. A. Orr and Mr. and
Mrs, Melvin Orr spent Wednes-
day of last week with Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Orr, Parkhill, and en-
joyed the fowl supper served
by the ladies of the United
Church at Parkhill.
- John Passmore is a patient
in Victoria Hospital, London.
James Mustard is a patient
in Clinton Public Hospital.
Mrs. Gordon Schwalm is a
patient in Clinton Public Hos-
pital.

The November meeting of
Hensall Women's Institute, with
the theme "Public Relations",
will be held in the Legion Hall,
Wednesday, November 10, at
8:15. Roll call, "A form of po-
litness I admire"; motto, "An
Institute is like a ship, every-
one should take a turn at the
wheel". A good program is be-
ing prepared.
Mrs. James Sangster has re-
turned home from South Huron
Hospital, Exeter, where she was
a patient.

Pryde, who has been a patient
in Clinton Public Hospital, has
returned home.
A surprise party for Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Smale at Staffa Hall
Friday evening, arranged by
relatives and friends on the oc-
casion of their 25th wedding
anniversary, was much enjoyed
and largely atended, Mr. and
Mrs. Smale were presented with
a purse of money, the address
read by Ted Roberts, and the
presentation by Mrs. George
Boa. The celebrants also re-
ceived many other gifts. Danc-
ing was enjoyed with music
provided by Norris orchestra.

Kippenettes
The sixth meeting of the
Thrifty Kippenettes was held at
the home of Mrs. Charles Eyre
on Saturday. The meeting
opened with the 4-11 pledge,
The roll call, "A finish I will
use on my pyjamas or night-
gown", was answered by 11
members,
The minutes were read by
Gwen McLean and Dianne Mc-
Kay was nominated secretary
for the next meeting.
The girls learned how to put
on lace and Mrs, Eyre told them
how to apply eyelet. The next
meeting will be held November
3 at 7 o'clock at Mrs. Gemmell's
home.
