Lauds Ontario
On Trade Mission
L. D. Dougan, president of
the Ontario Chamber of Com-
merce, commended the Ontario
government this week for
"stimulating the sale of Cana-
dian goods abroad".
At a meeting between Cham-
ber officials and the Provincial
Cabinet, the chamber president
referred specifically to the
Sales Opportunity Mission pro-
gram which involves "a broad
base of Ontario business rep-
resentative of different sizes
and types of business ventures
from throughout the province."
"The government deserves
congratulations for helping to
achieve a healthy balance be-
tween the promotion of interna-
tional goodwill and sound trad-
ing practices." "Canadian busi-
ness must follow through in
order to obtain the maximum
value flowing from these mis-
sions," Mr. Dougan said.
