The bulls that have completed test to printing date have averaged al- most three pounds per day. Seven of the bulls are sired by Jaybee Silver Britisher 3S, who was top selling bull in Stan Jackson's 1963 sale. He, in turn, was sired by the $8,000 Real Silver Prince 3M, and out of one of the best producing cows in the Jackson herd. Five of the bulls are sired by J H R Paladin Domino 40P, who is siring a lot of good calv- es. He is a deep, well flecked bull weighing well over a ton in pasture condition. Neighbours of Mr. Hoffman made a surprise visit to his home on Saturday Anniversary Services Dashwood Evangelical United !Brethren Church celebrated the 113th anniversary Sunday, Rev. Ralph Waugh, a minister of the United Church of Canada and pastor at Guelph, was the guest speaker for both services. He was accompanied by his wife, the former Hope RoppeI, and hei father-in-law, Rev. Roppel, a former pastor from 1935 to 1941. Rev, Roppel gave greet- ings and best wishes at the morning service. The services were under the leadership of Rev. M. J. James.
