Fergus District High School
hummed with activity last week-
end as Jehovah's Witnesses
held their semi-annual circuit
assembly-, and 578 delegates
gathered Friday evening for the
welcome address by Joseph
Seaglione. district supervisor.
An important feature of the
week -end program at any as-
sembly of the Witnesses is Sat-
urday afternoon's talk on dedi-
cation .and baptism. Coming so
soon after the district assem-
bly at Kitchener this summer,
it was pleasant to see the seven
persons who presented them-
selves for baptism, This con-
stitutes the ordination of a Wit
ness after he has completed a
course of study and has dedi-
cated his life to the ministry.
This area was represented at
the assembly by many members
of the Exeter congregation, The
delegation was led by Toni,
Rawlings, presiding minister for II
thy' Exeter eon negation.
He was in charge of installin;l
and maintaining the public ad-
dress system in the building, a
large auditorium, Mr. Rawlings
mentioned that the Exeter con-

"PLUMBING — HEATING — TINSMITHING"
a visit by a circuit minister, a public Bible lecture entitled
Victor J. Rohatynsky, the week "What to do to gain everlasting

JESUS CHRIST IS LARD I
Since the Church of England is studying the practice of
believers' baptism, it is timely to think seriously about it.
The Anabaptist churches practiced believers' baptism, not
so much to oppose infant baptism, but rather to encourage
those baptized to take up the life of serious discipleship.
Baptism was a time of life commitment to Jesus Christ.
The Word says: "Believe and be baptized and thou shalt
be saved". We therefore baptize only those who can
believe.
