GRAND BEND —. Council
agreed Monday night to issue
debentures for its share of the
cost of four school construction
projects—about $167,975.
The village is contributing to-
wards construction of a modi-
fied vocational addition to the
Forest District High School.
Total cost is $458,300 and
Grand Bend will contribute
$12.520.
A $1,640,000 modified voca-
tional addition to South Huron
District High School in Exeter
will cost the village about
$22,000.

will receive $133,455 from the

ship central school, and a $58.-
000 addition to Grand Bend
public school.
In other business council
agreed to give John Young a
five-year lease on a docking
area in the Ausable River, sim-
ilar to a lease granted Manore's
Riverside Marine last week.
Terms of the lease have not yet
been announced.
At council's last meeting, it
had been decided to send let -
ler to Premier Robarts, protest-
ing the inconvenience of day-
light saving time and asking
that, if the institution must be
continued, it be started one
month later in the spring and
ended one month sooner in the
fall.
Council received an answer
last night from Agriculture
Minister William Stewart, point-
ing out that while the depart-
ment was interested in the
question because of inconven-
ience for farmers, it had been
decided some years ago to leave
the question up to individual
municipalities.
