Mrs. Gordon Schwalm was the
happy winner of Kellogg's $5
a week for a year prize and
Mrs. Schwahn presented the
Arnold Circle with her first $5.
Meeting closed with the bene-
dition by Mrs. Lloyd Mousseau,
and a delicious lunch was
served by Mrs. Bob Taylor and
Mrs. Ed Fink.

Obituary
Mrs. A. Leibold
at the district convention in
Buffalo, N.Y., next month, were
discussed. Next meeting, April
Funeral service was held yes-
terday afternoon at the West-
lake funeral home, Zurich, for
Mrs. Anna Matilda Leibold, of
RR 3, Zurich. She passed away
in South Huron Hospital, Ex-
eter, on Monday.
The former Anna Volland,
she was born in Hay Township,
a daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Conrad Volland. He hus-
band, William Leibold, died
some years ago.
Surviving a r e: Daughters,
Mrs. Rudy (Pearl) Petzke, Hen-
sall; Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth)
Twamley, Stratford; Mrs. Gar-
field (Rose) Broderick, Hensall;
sons, Theodore, Elmer, William,
all of RR 3, Zurich; Albert, of
Clinton.
Burial was made in the Baby-
lon Line Cemetery. Rev. A. C.
Blackwell officiated.

Obituary
Miss Anna Hess
A life-Iong resident of this
area,.. Miss Anna Marie Hess
was found dead in her home at
Zurich on Monday afternoon.
She was believed to have died
sometime on Sunday.
Miss Hess had been blind for
the past 30 years, and lived
alone. She was in her 86th
year.
Born on October 1, 1879, in
Hay Township, she has no im-
mediate survivors.
The body is resting at the T.
Harry Hoffman funeral home,
Dashwood, until noon today
(Thursday), when removal will
be made to the Evangelical UB
Church, Zurich. Funeral serv-
ice will take place at 2 p.m.,
with interment in the Evangel-
ical UB Cemetery, Bronson
Line. Rev. A. M. Amacher will
officiate.
