MITE TOURNAMENT
Clinton - The third annual
Mite hockey tournament for
boys up to eight years of age
was held last Saturday at RCAF
Station, Clinton.
Teams taking part in the com-
petition came from Detroit, For-
est, Zurich, Clinton, RCAF Clin-
ton, Exeter, Seaforth and Goder-
In their first game Zurich
played against Forest, and
emerged at the short end of a
4.1 score. Gerald Weido scored
Zurich's goal.
Their second game was played
against Seaforth, and they were
narrowly beaten by 2-1, with
Pat Bedard finding the net.
The coach, Doug O'Brien, and
Jack Bannister travelled with
the team.
TAKE PART IN TOURNAMENT - The Zurich Mites
took part in are annual Mite Hockey Tournament held last
week at the Clinton RCAF Station. Although they failed to
win a game, the boys gave a good account of themselves in
both contests they took part in. Shown here with their
