Brings Message
Mrs. Robert Reaburn, leader
of Unit 1 of the UCW, opened
her meeting with a poem, "Great
the New Year". The theme of
the devotional period, prepared
by Mrs. Don Joynt, was "Being
a new person", with Scripture
reading by Mrs. Earl Soldon.
Mrs. H. F. Currie, as presi-
dent of the UCW, paid her in-
itial visit and brought an in-
spiring message on the work of
the UCW.
The study on "Trinidad" was
presented by Mrs, Walter Spen-
cer who also showed colored
slides on her trip to the World's
Fair.
The unit will cater to the
Guide and Brownie banquet on
February 25.
Refreshments were served by
lunch convenors, Mrs. V. M.
Pyette and Mrs. Earl Soldan.

Only five penalties were
handed out in the game, with
three of them going to Zurich

The Zurich crew will now
await word from WOAA offi-

ponets will be in the play-offs.
The only D category team in
this area is Blyth, so in all
probability they will meet them
