During the Sunday School hour

on Africa. At the evening serv-

The Evangelical UB Women's
Society entertained their hus-
bands at the annual Christmas
dinner, November 27. The
membership a n d attendance
committee was in charge of the
program which followed the
dinner. Mrs. Art Haugh, con-
venor, was chairlady. The fol-
lowing program was presented:
A sing -song of Christmas carols
led by Mrs. Howard Klumpp;
an impromptu trio by Ray Guen-
ther, Mervyn Tieman and How-
ard Klumpp; a reading by Mrs.
Mervyn Webb, which gave an
interesting setting f o r the
Christmas story. Rev. M. James
introduced the new executive
of the WSWS for the year 1965.

James Koga, of Kenya, Africa,

Huron County in 1965, accla-
mations for all seats on council
in Stephen Township were
achieved, even though sufficient
nominations were made to pro-
vide for a move up for one
councillor, and a •change of
chairs for the deputy reeve.
The seats will be held by
Reeve Glenn Webb, Deputy
Reeve James Hayter, councillors
Cecil Desjardine, Joseph Die-
trich and E Imond Hendrick.
For school area trustees, five
men were named for the three
seats available. They were the
inclumbents, Harold Fahner,
George Clarke, Sydney Baker,
Ralph Weber and Ross Brown.

Mr. Stewart, Minister of Agriculture; Mr. McCague, chairman,
of the Farm Products Marketing Board, and officials of the!
Ontario Federation of Agriculture have been invited to attend
the annual meetings.
The Farm Products Marketing Board is insisting that Ontario;
Bean Growers Marketing Board and its subsidiary company,
Ontario Bean Growers Limited, be completely separated. As
this is of great concern to all growers of white and yellow -eye
beans, it is most important that all growers of white and yellew-
eyc beans attend the meeting in their county.

Dashwood Safety Guards
The fourth meeting of the
Dashwood 4-H girls was held
Monday, November 30, at the
home of Norma Weigand. Fol-
lowing opening exercises the
roll call was, "A defect in my
posture". Notes were given on
micro-organisms, water supply,
milk, houseflies, and the pre-
cautions of infections. The
girls made a sling for a broken
arm. Next meeting will be held
December 7 at the home of
Joanne and Sharon Martine,
The meeting closed with "The
Queen".

Next Monday is ELECTION DAY for ratepayers in the
Hay Township School Area, and your support will be
appreciated.
I have served you as a trustee for the past number of
years, and have always tried to work in the best interests
of all ratepayers.
My main objective is to see that all our children receive
