An election of officers for 1965 was held at which the rector, Rev, J. P. Gandon, presided. Those elected were: Presi- dent, i'Irs. Thomas Lavender; vice-president, Mrs. B. Jack- man; secretary -treasurer, Mrs. J. P. Gandon; assistant secre- tary -treasurer, Mrs. Fred Broad- ley: pray partner secretary, Mrs. Mary Taylor. During the meeting, the rec- tor showed a film concernng the Anglican congress held in Toronto in 1963. The next meeting of the WA will feature a pot -luck Tupper at the rectory. Members will invite their husbands. ---0. _ BLAKE NEWS Mr. and Mrs, Harry Martin. of Ailsa Craig, were week -end visitors with Mr. and Mrs, Ken Gingerich, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Steckle and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis O ingerich. Bonnie and Dawn, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Moses Schwartzentruber at Baden. 0 St. Peter's CWL Hold Meeting St. Peter's Catholic Women's League opened their monthly meeting with prayers, Mrs. Law- rence Regier presiding. Min- utes were read and approved and the financial report given. Gathering of used clothing for the poor will again be a before -Christmas project. Cloth- ing must be carefully boxed and brought to the parish hall on November 22. This is forward- ed to the Sisters of Service. The December meeting is to be held on the first Tuesday of the month.
