CBS did the best job of re- porting. NBS's team of Hunt- ley -Brinkley made several er- rors, and no attempt was made to correct them. ABC did a good jonb of interviewing inn - portant people and keeping their viewers up-to-date by su- per -imposing latest figures at the bottom of the screen. CBC's coverage was good. CTV used Larry Henderson at 11 p.m. for a special report, and we can only ask, "why?" All of that takes up the spring days. They then look forward to the warm summer days with an occasional warm rain to give he necessary moisture to push ahead the seeds which were planted. After a certain lapse of time, those seeds which were planted in the spring days had grown to full maturity and fin- ally the hot summer days had quietly 'ripened them and they are ready for to be harvested and prepared for the market. All becomes something of the past when only the stocks re- mains to decay. All of that brings us nearer to the beginning of the autumn season, thence to the midway part which is in this , present month of November. This month has much to of- fer in the way of changeable weather which at times• is dis- i agreeable to all. It is also the month when we can expect snowfall to cover the ground accompanied by high winds causing blizzards and at times causing destruction to property and sometimes causing death by accident during its passing, A11 of that means the passing of spring, summer and enter- ing into the autumn season. And again when we look back to the previous months of spring and summer seasons when na- ture greeted us with beautiful sunshine, when flowers of all colors were pouring out their blossoms, and all of the scen- eries were also giving us the full meaning of nature to give us new hope from day to day, it is then that we realize that all of that is beyond human power, therefore reminding us that all is the work of a Su- preme Power. The month of this passing November will be no exception from others. It wil play its role while passing on. Throughout its length, there will be pleas- ant autumn days mixed in. There will be incidents to give us memories of its passing, this autumn month of November.
