BICYCLE FOUND
Stephen Hesse is back in
business with his bicycle, thanks
to Mr. Tom Meyers, of Zurich.
Stephen's bike has been mys-
teriously missing for several
days and a short story explain-
ing the urgent need for its re-
turn appeared in the Zurich
Citizen's News. Mr. Meyers
found the lost two -wheeler in
his flower bed and got in touch
with Stephen.
Now, delivery of the Free
Press each morning is an easier
matter for Stephen -besides,
it is less difficult to get to
school on time.

Will Form New
Athletic Group
District Rally
At EUB Church
A public meeting will be held
in Zurich next Thursday night,
October 15, for the purpose of
forming an athletic association
to administer all minor sports
within the community.
In past years the Lions Club
have sponsored a number of
minor sports teams, as well as
the Chamber of Commerce.
Both organizations have agreed
that it would be much more
effective if one group were or-
ganized to promote all sports.
Both organizations were lim-
ited to the number of members
who were available to assist in
the project, and it is felt under
the new arrangement more vol-
unteers will conte forward to
assist.
A11 interested persons
throughout the community are
urged to come out to this im-
portant organizational meeting
next Thursday night.

JESUS CHRIST 15 LORD!
"The Writings of the Fathers or the Word of God?
The writings of the Fathers points to the Son of Man as
"Very God and Very man."
The Word of God points to the Son of Man (Jesus Christ)
as being found in fashion as a man and made only in
the likeness of men.
The Son of man clearly was not a human being in the
strict sense of the word.
Do we need to squeeze Him into a mold that fits our ideas
or can we accept the Inspired Record as true?
Can we be surprised that men shrink' to worship Him as
Lord if they have been deluded about His essential nature?
The Christian in the 20th century will need to decide
whether he will sell his soul to the authority of men or
whether he will pay the price to know the Word of God.
