INACCURATE REPORT
In last week's edition this
newspaper gave an inaccurate
account of Delbert Geiger's
rainfall measurement. The re-
port should have given a 4.2
rainfall for August 3 and 1.1
inches for August 4, making a
grand total of 5.3 inches over
the Civic Holiday week -end, in-
stead of the 3.1 total. The
Tuesdayand
Wednesday Y report
was correct, with a total of 1.8
inches up until Wednesday
night.

You Are Welcome
JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
the principalities. against the authorities. against the world -
rulers of this darkness."
We see here that the Christian must put on the whole
armour of God because the powers that be are a threat
to our faith. Authorities that are God -ordained are still
in the exercise of their office a threat to our allegiance to
Jesus Christ. When we proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord we
affirm our own subjection to Him but warn at the same
time that many have not discovered in their lives the au-
thority that is His.
fie is head over all things for the benefit of the church.
Authnrities and principalities which are a threat to the
Christian and his faith have not submitted to His authority.
