Jesus in his humiliation never lost his diety. The Scripture testifies to this when it states clearly "An Only -Begotten, Himself God". This agrees also with the testimony of the Apostle John who reports "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God". This is the Lord's doing and it is marvellous in our eyes. Who would honour the Father must honour the Son.
