uary 25, from 1 to 5 o'clock.
Construction of the new build-
ing has held the interest of the
public since the work first
started last May. For months
a bright blue 'hoarding sur-
rounded the construction but
windows enabled passerby to
watch the progress of the build-
ing. Construction was halted
during August when lack of
structural steel caused a stand -
The design of the building is.
admirably suited to its location
on the corner of Wellington and
Queen streets. The second floor
will house a community room
which will be available to clubs,
societies and organizations, for
meetings at no cost. There will
,also be room for tenants on this
floor.
A massive steel and concrete
vault will be located in the
savings department. A special
feature of the building will be
a painted mural, depicting the
buildings of St, Marys, by Bob
Ihrig, a well-known Canadian
designer and artist.
Warm Churches
Electric beat is becoming in-
creasingly popular in Ontario
churches and schools. At the
end of 1963 some 150 churches
and 110 schools with eletcric
heating were occupied or under
construction in the province.
With thermostatic controls in
every room, no beat is wasted
for areas not in use.

DOES SHU ®G A 1N TAKE THE
EXTRA TROUBLE TO MAKE
SELECTED -GRANULATED FERTILIZER
Because it's mare effective. SHUR-GAIN Fertilizer is granulated after the
ingredients have been mixed and is not just a blend of granular
materials. As a result each granule contains all three plant food
elements in the right proportions.
Ordinary granular and blended fertilizers simply consist of a
mixture of ingredients, either in powder form or granules. Although
it's easier to make fertilizer that way it cannot be as effective in use
due to the separation of ingredients of different size and weight.
As every granule contains all the guaranteed plant food elements,
SHUR-GAIN Selected -Granulated Fertilizer remains completely bale
anced. throughout storing, shipping and spreading—resulting in.
balanced feeding of plants from every granule; consistent, more even
application of the best possible fertilizer to give you maximum
yields and top returns from your fertilizer dollar.
As always it pays to get the finest fertilizer for your good earth--
