The popular apologetic shiboleth to defend John Barley- corn is to say that alcohol is a disease. But is it a disease? If it is, It is the only disease contracted by an act of .the will. It is the only disease that requires a Incense to propogate it. It is the only •disease that is bottled and sold. It is the only disease that requires outlets to spread it. It is the only disease that produces a revenue for the govt. It is the only disease that provokes crime. It is the only disease that is habit forming. It is the only disease that is spread by advertising. The Word of God says a drunkard shall not enter the king- dom of heaven. There is no excuse for a Christian to be deluded by alcohol.
