Correction
In the story in last week's
edition of the success of a for-
mer local boy, Vic Denomme,
the name of Vic's mother was
mistakenly listed as Mrs. Isabel
Ducharme. This name should
have been Mrs. Adeline De-
nomy, instead. We are sorry for
the error, and hope there was
no inconvenience caused to any-
one.

Village of Zurich
County of Huron
A By-law to provide for the holding of a vote on the ques-
tion, "Are you in favour of granting the application of the
Hay Township School Area Board of Trustees to the Coun-
cil of the Township of Hay and the Corporation of the
Viilage of Zurich requesting approval from the Council
of the Corporation of the Township of Hay for an expendi-
ture of $80,000.00 to cover the cost of an addition of three
classrooms and a combined gymnasium -auditorium to No.
7 Hay Township Area, Zurich Public School."
THEREFORE: Pursuant to Chapter 249 of the Municipal
Act, Sections 255, 256, 257, 260, 261, 266, 267, 268, 270 and
271, the Council of the Village of Zurich enacts as follows:
1. That a vote on the Application be held in the Vil-
lage of Zurich at specified polling place on the
30th day of August, 1963
between the Hours of 9.00 to 5.00, Standard Time
or 10.00 to 6.00 D.S.T.

2. That the Clerk (Sec. 261) shall not later than August
20th, 1963, prepare a list of the persons entitled

entitled to vote on the proposed question and shall
forthwith be posted up on the Zurich Village Muni-
cipal Office.
3. And that pursuant to Sec. 262, the Judge of the
County of Huron will attend at the HAY TOWN-
SHIP OFFICE ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 23RD, AT
THE HOUR OF 11.00 A.M. D.S.T. to attend to the
revision of the prepared list, and upon the applica-
tion of any person whose name is entered on the
list of voters prepared by the Clerk, or of any
entitled to be entered on that list, may, add to the
list of names who are wrongfully omitted or whose
names are wrongfully included in the prepared
list.
4. That the Returning Officer for the proposed vote
shall be the Clerk of the Village of Zurich, Mrs.
Elda Wagner.

of question submitted and By -Law No. 39, 1963, of the
Village of Zurich, in the County of Huron, in the Province

leave the latter part of August
on a 6 -day conducted tour of
Montreal, Quebec, and the Sa-
guenay.
Mr. and Mrs. James McAllis-
ter, Mrs. George Thompson and
Mrs. Hugh McMurtrie spent a
few days on Saddle Lake Island,
the guests of Mrs. R. S. Hop-
kins, at her summer home.
Mrs. Samuel Buchanan is a
patient in St. Josephs' Hospital,
London.

TO THE ELECTORS OF THE
Township of Hay
County of Huron
A BY-LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE HOLDING OF A
VOTE on the Question, "Are you in favour of granting
the application of the Hay Township School Area Board
of Trustees to the Council of the Township of Hay and the
Corporation of the Village of Zurich, requesting approval
from the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Hay for an expenditure of $80,000.00 to cover the cost of
an addition of three classrooms and a combined gym-
nasium -auditorium to No. 7 Hay Township School Area,
Zurich Public School.
The Hay Township. School Area comprises all or parts of
the Corporation of the Township of Hay and part s of the
Township of Stephen and parts of the Corporation of the
Village of Zurich.
The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Hay
did, on July 2nd, 1963 receive a request from Board of
Trustees of the Hay Township School Area to submit the
application to a vote of the Electors of the Municipality,
The Council granted this request, and pursuant to the
Municipal Act, Chapter 249, Sections 255, 256, 257, 260,
261, 266, 267, 268, 270 and 271, the Council of the Township
of Hay enacted as follows:
1. That a vote on the question be held in the Township
of Hay at the various polling places on the
34th day of August, 1963
between the hours of: 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. Standard
Time; or 10.00 A.M. to 6,00 P.M. Daylight Time—At the
various polling places.

Hay Township Office, on Friday, August 23rd, 1963, at
the hour of 10.00 A.M. D.S.T. to attend to the Revision
of the prepared list, and upon application of any person
whose name is entered on the list of voters prepared
by the Clerk, or of any person entitled to be entered
on that list, may, add to the list of names, any names
who are wrongfully omitted or whose names argil
wrongfully included in the list.
4. The Returning Officer for the proposed vote shall be
the Clerk, H. W. Brokenshire.
5. By-law No. 8, 1963 was passed in open Council on
August lsf, 1963.
6. This notice will appear in the Exeter Tines Advocate
and the Zurich Citizens' News for three weeks in suc-
cession, namely, August 15th, 22nd, and 29th, issues.
