JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!
Church tradition calls for penance: the Word of God
calls for repentance: what is the difference?
Penance represents religious acts and ceremonies in an
attempt to establish the righteousness of man before a
Holy God.
Repentance is a denouncing of the righteousness of
man and accepting without reserve, the goodness of God as
a gift in Jesus Christ, by the finished salvation of the
cross.
Repentance or penance? Rock or sand? On which are
you building?
