OBITUARY
Nelson Heard
Nelson beard, RR 3, Bay
f.eld, passed away suddenly in.
Clinton Public Hospital, on
Saturday, November 11, in his
70th year. He had been in for
only a few days.
Born in Stanley Township on
May 5, 1892, he was a son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. John
Heard. His wife is the form-
er Caroline Lawrason. He was
a member of the Bayfield LOL.
Surviving besides his wife is
one son, Lloyd, Varna; three
brothers, Emmerson, Bayfield;
John Leonard, Clinton; and
Ninian, Holmesville. There are
also three grandchildren.
The body rested at the West-
lake funeral home, Zurich, un-
til Tuesday, November 14, when
removal was made to Knox
Presbyterian Church, Bayfield,
where the funeral service was
held at 2.30 p.m, Interment

Miss J. Cochrane
Miss Jessie Cochrane, daugh-
ter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
James Cochrane, Hay Township,
died Last Tuesday, at the Clin-
ton Public Hospital.
Surviving are two brothers,
John, Hay Township, and Rob-
ert, Grand Prairie, Alta.; six
sisters, Mrs. Mary Forrest, Mea-
dow Lake, Sask.; Mrs, Jean Cam!
eron and Miss Agnes Cochrane,
both of Clinton; Mrs. Henry
Fuss and Mrs. Brur•., Walker,
both of Hensall, and Mrs. Cath-
erine Smith, Moose Jaw, Sask.
The body rested at the Ball
and Mulch funeral home, Clin-
ton, where a funeral service was
held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Bur-

The Ladies Aid of St. Peter's
Lutheran Church, Zurich, held
their November meeting on
Tuesday, evening, with 29
members present.
Mrs, Arletta Hess opened the
meeting with the singing of
"Jesus Saviour Pilot Me." This
was followed by Psalm 90, and
a Thanksgiving prayer, The
ladies joined in singing "Faith
Of Our Fathers."
